Using baking soda for heartburn treatment?

Acid reflux is also known as heartburn. Generally, heartburn or acid reflux is a condition in which the acid from the stomach flows back to the food pipe causing acidity and a burning sensation in the human body.

Also, people use baking soda for heartburn treatment. But it is not suggested for all people as it might also make the situation worse.
